Brianna Tavares is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Cupping Therapist, and Reiki practitioner. Her healing journey began after she was introduced to Reiki. After her first treatment, she was astounded by the intuitive form of healing and decided to pursue her own training through Branches of Wellness in 2014. After four years of seeing clients for Reiki and witnessing profound healing transformations, she felt the need to understand more. She wanted to learn the mechanics of healing and the anatomical and physiological capabilities of exactly how the body is able to heal. Through her own experience with a back injury, she was exposed to medical massage. Using massage therapy and chiropractic care she was able to avoid surgery and go back to functioning and living a normal life. The two worlds of Reiki and massage melded together, so Brianna decided to enroll in the Cleveland Institute of Medical Massage, which she graduated from in October of 2018. She received her Medical License from the State of Ohio shortly after and has been a Massage Therapist with Branches of Wellness since December 2018. Brianna has continued her education and has received her Prenatal Massage Certification through the American Massage Therapy Association (April, 2019) and most recently her Cupping Certification through the International Cupping Therapy Association (July, 2019).
