Monthly Restorative & Yoga Nidra with Lisa Yarletts
Restorative Yoga is designed to help you find deep relaxation and inner stillness. This class educates on relaxation and stress-relief techniques using deep breathing, gentle stretching, and passive stretching with the support of props like cushions, blankets, and yoga blocks. You will rest in restorative poses for anywhere from five to twenty minutes each, or perhaps even longer if you wish. Restorative yoga has amazing benefits for all of the bodily systems, particularly the nervous system, and can also help relieve the symptoms of back pain, arthritis, fibromyalgia, etc. This class is open to all levels who would like to learn to deeply relax and counteract the effects of stress on the body/mind. We may also explore “divine sleep”, aka Yoga Nidra, and other guided relaxations. Tap into the well of peace within you.
