Tracy’s yoga journey began when she was experiencing health problems in 2008, and she decided to try yoga to help improve her overall health and wellness. She began practicing with Erin Hill at the Fairport Dance Academy while her daughter took dance classes. As she watched her health improve, she became inspired to dive deeper, and in 2009, Tracy received her 200-Hour certification at T.R.Y. 4 Life. She then joined Erin as yoga at the dance school grew into its own wellness center and began teaching yoga at Branches of Wellness.
Tracy has taught various styles of yoga over the years, including gentle, restorative, children’s, and yoga nidra. Tracy worked off-site for BoW at Broadmoor School, teaching yoga to the employees of the Department of Developmental Disabilities for 6 years. Currently, Tracy subs for occasional classes and desk yogi shifts at Branches. In addition, she teaches yoga and works at the front desk at the Live Healthy Fitness Center. Tracy has also gone through all three degrees of Reiki training with the Branches of Wellness, and received her Master level certification in 2010. She is a graduate of Kent State University with a degree in fashion merchandising.
By embracing a dedicated yoga practice, one’s yoga journey never ends. Tracy is forever grateful to Erin and Branches of Wellness for shining light on her path to healing.
