Mindful Strength & Stretch with Brenda Swain

Mindful Strength & Stretch: Join experienced yoga and fitness instructor Brenda for this 8-week class series which will include mindful breathing, stretching, and strength training using small weights, chairs, blocks, resistance bands, and more!

The 2018 Physical Activity Guidelines stress that exercise is a must as we grow older, and the more we move, the better we live. Come experience the benefits of strength training which include:
•maintaining muscle
•improving strength
•protecting and improving bone health
•maintaining and improving balance
•maintaining and improving ability to perform activities of daily living
•potentially reducing risk for Type 2 Diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, excess weight gain, anxiety, depression, and harmful falls


Minimum 3 participants for series to run.

After 3 have signed up for series, individual session passes will be available for purchase and drop-ins are welcome!
