This gentle yoga class offers you a way to be present in the moment through movement that is grounding and centering. It integrates the ancient wisdom of the 8 Limbs of Yoga with the neuroscience of Polyvagal Theory to reset the nervous system. It uses a bottom-up approach to regulate and increase stability and safety within the body and improve conscious awareness between the body and brain.
This class begins with a centering practice, drifts into a gentle yoga flow of movement, and ends with a guided meditation. It is for anyone who is experiencing stress, feels overwhelmed, is burnout, has difficulty with anxiety, panic, or depression, or is a survivor of trauma.
